Arizona State University is offering a free media literacy course open to anyone who reads, watches, listens to or creates media online. Mediactive is a 6-hour, self-directed online course that includes webinars with journalism and media experts, as well as interactive and reflective activities.
Throughout the course you will learn to:
- spot misinformation
- assess claims and sources
- explain how the news media operate
- ethically share and create media
The course was created by the News Co/Lab at ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
